Jigsaw Support is a CBS (Community Benefit Society).

We work with communities, families and individuals across the North West of England, with offices and properties based in Manchester, Tameside, Oldham, Stockport, Leigh, Wigan and Lancaster.

Our projects and services are as diverse as the people we support and range from homelessness and housing advice, domestic abuse support, employment services to agency managed properties and more and includes our award winning Housing First programmes.

Customer Support Worker fixed term contract until 31st March 2024, 37.5 hours per week

The Customer Support Worker will be based in the refuge provision of Bridges Domestic Abuse service. The refuge is a 24 hour provision therefore you will be expected to work a shift pattern over a four week rota covering days, evenings and weekends where some of these shifts will be lone working.

The clients that we are supporting are victims of abuse and may have additional support needs with substance misuse and mental health.

 We offer a holistic package of support to meet the individual needs of the customer, motivating, empowering and supporting to move on to independent living. Some clients will also have their children with them


The Customer Support Worker will be confident and assertive able to deal with difficult and challenging demands of behaviours. Are able to manage crisis situations having the ability to work under pressure within a busy and very demanding environment.


The above role is exempt under the Equality Act 2010 pursuant to Schedule 9, Part 1 and therefore we can only accept applications from women.

25 working days per annum (5 day working week) plus bank holidays.
