Engagment Worker Housing First Domestice Violence, fixed term contract until 31st March 2020

37.5 Hours per week. Monday – Friday

Including some weekends as per rota.

You will work as part of a team providing an alternative to traditional refuge provision to households experiencing domestic violence and abuse who also have multiple and complex needs, using the Housing First Model.  The service offers permanent accommodation and intensive, flexible wrap around support to enable customers to recover from trauma and begin to rebuild their lives. You will need to be person centred, resilient and have a persistent approach when working with this customer group in the community. This post has a focus on working with people with NRPF who are in the UK on a spousal visa and are fleeing Domestic Violence.


The above role is exempt under the Equality Act 2010 pursuant to Schedule 9, Part 1 and therefore we can only accept applications from women.

You are entitled to a total of 25 days annual leave per year in addition to 8 public holidays per year pro rata.
