This role is based within the Neighbourhood Engagement team, working directly for the Big Local Board and Ridgehill Social Enterprise.  The Engagement team forms part of the wider Neighbourhood team, responsible for implementing our Group Neighbourhood plans and creating projects and initiatives to tackle issues around Health, Employment and financial sustainability. 

The role is based at the Big Local hub in Ridgehill and concentrates on engaging the community and local partners to facilitate the 10 year Big Lottery plan aimed at improving opportunities for individuals, the environment and community cohesion.    You will need to be community minded, be able to form good relationships with a range of residents and partners and be able to identify, drive and lead on initiatives.  You will be a good team player as well as being self-motivated, enthusiastic and have a love for community action.
