Housing First Engagement Worker (Rough Sleepers)

£22323 per annum.

Hours: 37.5 Hours per week. Monday – Friday (Including some weekends and bank holidays  as per rota.)

This role is fixed term until 28th February 2022.

We work with communities, families and individuals across the North West of England, with offices and properties based in Manchester, Tameside, Oldham, Stockport, Leigh, Wigan and Lancaster.

Our projects and services are as diverse as the people we support and range from homelessness and housing advice, domestic abuse support, employment services to agency managed properties and more and includes our award winning Housing First programmes.

You will work as part of a team providing a Housing First Service to men and women who have experienced persistent homelessness and rough sleeping, using the Housing First Model.  The service offers permanent accommodation and intensive, flexible wrap around support to enable customers to recover from trauma and begin to rebuild their lives. You will need to be person centred, resilient and have a persistent approach when working with this customer group in the community.

You are entitled to a total of 25 days annual leave per year in addition to 8 public holidays per year pro rata. Your annual leave entitlement will increase by one day per completed year after the first completed year on 1st April to a maximum of 30 days per year, pro rata.
