Strive Volunteer Coordinator

£14,189 per annum. (Pro rata of £21,000)

Jigsaw Support brings together our support services from across the Jigsaw Group. We work with communities, families and individuals across the North West of England, with offices and properties based in Manchester, Tameside, Oldham, Stockport, Leigh, Wigan and Lancaster.

Our projects and services are as diverse as the people we support and range from homelessness and housing advice, domestic abuse support, employment services to agency managed properties and more.

Bridges is Tameside’s commissioned domestic abuse service, which Jigsaw has run since its inception in October 2013. Funding is currently in place to continue until 2024.  This is a fast paced service, providing a mixture of outreach and refuge support to individuals and families, across the spectrum of risk. Bridges plays a key role in working with partner agencies to deliver effective and bespoke support to those affected by abuse in the Tameside Borough.

We are looking for a STRIVE Volunteer Coordinator to manage the delivery of STRIVE in Oldham, Coordinating recruitment, training, and supervising a team of volunteers as they offer home visits to standard risk victims of domestic incidents in partnership with GMP.
