The Neighbourhood Safety Team based in Chorley covers the Sefton and Lancashire areas (including Chorley, Preston, Lancaster and Morecambe). The team provides a comprehensive service to tackle anti social behaviour, tenancy fraud, domestic abuse, safeguarding and support for vulnerable tenants.  Cases are managed from start to finish by the team with an emphasis on speedy but effective resolution.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, empathetic and assertive person, preferably with a background in dealing with anti social behaviour and working with people with support needs around substance misuse and / or mental health issues. The role involves dealing with cases of poor property or garden condition and some low level anti social behaviour cases, as well as tenancy fraud and safeguarding cases. The role will also involve dealing with cases where a resident is at risk of eviction due to anti social behaviour, by developing  appropriate support plans which seek to address the underlying causes of the anti social behaviour and provide assistance in meeting the identified support needs.
