About The Department:

You will be part of our established and dedicated Asset Management department which has a committed and passionate team of 600 colleagues who work with care, professionalism and togetherness.

The department covers a wide range of disciplines, including property refurbishments, reactive, and planned maintenance, grounds maintenance, caretaking and estate services and building safety.

Above all, you would be working with a team who work hard to make the lives of our thousands of residents better.

We are looking for someone with a passion for learning, housing and customer service to start their career with us, as part of our repairs team based in Nottingham.

Role Information:

This apprenticeship if Fixed Term for 2 years. Applicants will be expected to complete a Business Admin Level 3 apprenticeship to start in September 2022 (if not before)

Your tasks will be interesting and varied and include:

  • Dealing with customers who want to book repairs and making appointments for both technicians and surveyors. 
  • Preparing and sending letters, including filing and scanning. 
  • Processing invoices
  • Using computer based systems with Microsoft packages (Word and Excel)

You will be required to work as part of a team and as you develop in the role, begin to work independently on certain tasks with the support of your manager and colleagues.

You will ideally have qualifications (GCSE’s A-C or 4-9) in Maths and English or equivalent that demonstrates sound literacy and numerical skills.
