About the department:
Jigsaw's Data Protection team ensures that we handle personal information safely and in compliance with the law. We deal with a wide range of queries from our employees, our customers and external agencies.
The team is an integral part of the Governance department, which also manages Jigsaw’s boards and committees, and delivers insurance, business continuity and internal audit services for the Group.
Role Information:
We are seeking a proactive Apprentice to join our Data Protection Team. In this role, you will support the team by managing data protection queries, logging and processing subject access requests, and ensuring compliance with data protection regulations. You'll also assist in handling data breaches, redacting personal information and maintaining accurate records.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in data protection within a supportive environment. You’ll develop key skills while contributing to important projects that help safeguard personal information across our organisation.
You will have the opportunity to study towards a qualification in data protection as part of the apprenticeship.
The apprenticeship qualification will be Data Protection and Information Governance Practitioner (Level 4) and the role is Fixed Term for 2 years.
