The Supported Temporary Accommodation service provides temporary accommodation to homeless people in Tameside. The service’s main aim is to resettle people into the community and assist in overcoming their barriers to rehousing.

Role Information:

We are looking for an enthusiastic keyworker to join our team within our contracted homeless accommodation service.

You will have experience in supporting people with complex needs.

Working as part of motivated team, you will be providing support and advice to maintain the welfare, health and safety of all our customers.

You will have experience working with vulnerable client groups in a front line customer environment and you will have great communication skills with the ability to respond sensitively to individuals’ needs.

Knowledge of housing and welfare benefits legislation would be desirable.

We operate a 24/7 service for our customers covering all aspects of homelessness and we also provide an out of hours service for our partners so you will provide cover on a rota basis and be willing to work all shift patterns.
