About the department:

Jigsaw Support brings together our support services from across the Jigsaw Group. We work with communities, families and individuals across the Northwest of England. We provide:

  • Homeless Prevention and Supported Accommodation
  • Community Outreach and Prevention
  • Property Management

We operate across Greater Manchester, Lancashire and the Liverpool City Region.

Our services are as diverse as the needs of the people we support and include homelessness support, domestic abuse support, employment services, supported housing and agency managed properties.

We work with a number of Local Authorities including Tameside MBC, Wigan Council, Lancashire County Council, and the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority.

The Bridges Partnership are the commissioned Domestic Abuse Service for Tameside. We support men, women and children who are at risk of or suffering domestic abuse in any of its forms. We support victims in refuge and on an outreach basis. The partnership also supports those causing harm who wish to change their behaviour.

Our Domestic Abuse service provides a holistic offer that includes refuge and safe accommodation, IDVA and CHIDVA support for high-risk cases, keyworker support for standard and medium risk cases, group interventions, prevention and awareness training programmes, and targeted support for young people. The contract is delivered in partnership with Talk Listen Change, who deliver our perpetrator programmes and Diversity Matters North West who work specifically with marginalised groups and by and for providers.

Role Information:

As one of our dedicated and skilled Keyworkers you will manage a caseload of standard and medium risk domestic abuse cases. You will support victim-survivors, being their mentor and coach. You will assess and manage risk and co-produce personalized action plans to aid victim-survivors recovery, improving their situation and challenges they face.

You will deal with new referrals, complete assessments and co-ordinate interventions working with victim-survivors to identify the most appropriate course of action. You will deliver face to face and telephone/ video call support and support delivery of group interventions. 

You will have experience of working and supporting people with multiple and complex needs including domestic abuse. You will need to be highly organised, self-motivated, engaging, supportive and be confident in using case management systems.
