Who we are:

Jigsaw Homes Group is one of the largest housing groups in England with more than 35,000 homes across the North West and East Midlands.

We provide quality, low-cost housing and play a wider role in making sure our residents thrive in their homes and benefit from living in healthy, sustainable communities.

About the department:

As a Finance Compliance Assistant, you will form part of the Finance Department. The wider Finance department is split between Ashton-Under-Lyne (Head Office), and Leigh (WN7) and is a progressive, forward thinking supportive area to work in, made up of over 100 people.

Your role will report to the Finance Compliance Officer, and will work alongside two Finance Apprentices.

Role Information:

You will be vital in providing key information for the various functions of the Finance team as well as other teams within the organisation, and will play a key role in the upcoming changes brought about by the new Procurement Act 2023.

The work will be varied, but can be complex, and the aim of the role is to both streamline existing functionality when on-boarding new suppliers/contractors, whilst ensuring our Financial Regulations absolutely underpin everything we do.

You will require a methodical approach requiring accuracy and an eye for detail, ensuring that the pending changes to Procurement are understood and implemented group wide. We are currently in discussion to bring in some new software to help with this transition, and you will be heavily involved in this and provide a key support function.

Contact with staff members and customers will be required and effective communication is absolutely critical to the success of this role.

If this sounds like the perfect job for you then don’t hesitate to apply now by uploading your current, up to date CV and a covering letter.

We reserve the right to close this vacancy early should we receive a sufficient number of CVs.
